This is obviously pointless, but as of right now, 2RR is the top-rated fantasy basketball site at #21 in the overall rankings. PITP is #23 and GMTR is a lowly #37.
I don't understand this stuff. At all.
I just think he exhibits everything I hate about the post-Garnett Celtics. He seems like a nice kid, he's got personality, and that's great. I'd probably love him if he came up under, say, a Tim Duncan or a Rasheed Wallace. Too bad he's been taking asshole lessons for the last two years.
We could not have had more different reactions to Big Baby earning relevance.
Also, for he record, I think GMTR has a pretty sweet banner too.
Normally I'd agreed about Duncan, but normally they'd be all-but-guaranteed a top 3 seed in the West by now. But they can't calim a lock-down on that, and I think Pops will try to rest him a little, and then realize that Tommy needs to play in 4th quarters while Manu heals. Duncan might see a SLIGHT decrease in value, but I'd wager he'll still be solid through fantasy playoffs.
Nels, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I've noticed something in your pics lately and had to mention it: You and your wife are quite a handsome couple. Noticeably so.
I mean, I'm no bridge-troll or anything, but the two of you are probably too attractive to be tied down by this internet thing. I might have to rescind your fantasy sports card.
Are we ready to officially elevate Ty Thomas from "inconsistent waiver fill-in" to "good enough for somebody to own in standard leagues"?
You know, I watched S-Jax play this week against the Lakers ('cause I'm not living the League Pass lifestyle), and I had really forgotten exactly how much me does for that Warriors team. He's actually one of my favorite players to watch in the league, and I've ridden him in more than one fantasy league to good finishes. For the life of me, I can't remember exactly why i was so put off by him this preseason. The FG and the TOs suck, but who doesn't love 'em some Cap'n Jack?
My thoughts exactly. I'm a little nervous about what happens if/when OKC settles on a new head coach, but you have to imagine the franchise will give anybody the directive that Durant, Green and Westbrook are not to be smashed into some hinderence of a system like Carlesimo tried to. West has been a tremendous disappointment. I expected some regression off last season's stats, but even when he's playing well he just doesn't look likely to be a top 30 player anymore.
9 cat keeper league, offer is I get Jeff Green straight-up for David West. You do that deal, right?
