This is what these mosters do. They love to play games with lives. It's that simple.

One of the saddest commentaries is that the Dem's for the largest part have abondoned the anti-war movement. I guess it just goes to show how they were more anti-bush than pro peace.

Part 2
If the police come to your door do not allow them to enter and do not go outside. If they had propable cause to enter they wouldn't need to ask. If they had an arrest warrant they would simply arrest you and take you to the station. In this situation he would have been smart to have simply stood in his doorway shown his proof and asked them to leave. As Nancy Reagon Said "Just Say NO!"

I know many people focus on this as a racial issue. I am glad this article did not. The police have been tought a whole new form of tactics when it come to dealing with the public. They are now supposed to project and image of power and that their authority is not to be questioned. Some of this is common sense, in that the streets that some of these cops patrol is violent to an extreem. However, much of it is also simply the love of power. I have been manhandled or threatend by police on a number of occations. I am always polite but willing to assert my rights. I make it a point to know them (my rights) so I feel more free in exercising them than most people would. In this case I would not have allowed the police to get me outside. Just by stepping outside he found himself in a different legal situtation. This is a common tactic.

Once again this type of thinking shows how far we are from having any real peace. Anyone who thinks that Israel is actually looking for peace is nieve at best. the Israeli conquest for land progrom is more similar to Nazis and Soviets than anything the Palistinians have ever done.

Why Are British Troops in Afghanistan or why do the British people put up with their troops being in Afghanistan? It's really two seperate questions. The people put up with it because they are as brainwashed as the people of the US. Why Are British Troops in Afghanistan? That one's real simple as well. Because the corporate elite say so, that's why. That leads us to why does the corporate elite say so. That has many answers many of which have been hit upon by earlier posts. But mainly it's greed and power with a little religious posturing thrown in for good measure.

Yes it's an interesting parrallel. But it's also interesting how this speach doomed LBJ and ushered in Nixon, yet another anti-war President who simply had to escalate to end the war. These people are all bought and paid for shills and the most trusted man in America should be the villiage idiot at least you know where you stand with him (or her).
