Agreed.

At first I thought of Jasper as another arrogant and evil Homeworld gem that just really didn't understand the Crystal Gem's purposes about protecting Earth. But I can kinda see now that she knows what's up. Rose Quartz took away something that meant so much to her, someone who helped and saved her from Earth. And she shattered her. Rose was being selfish in her eyes, so she wanted to defend what mattered to her.
Just like Rose defended what mattered to her own friends, the ones who wanted freedom. When Garnet explained that she never did what was best for herself, but her comrades. Jasper doing what she thought was best for her diamond, protecting her, not what was best for her own self.

It would be pretty interesting for Steven to see Homeworld, but I really don't think he'll be amazed. More in the range of angry, scared, sad, etc. It's truly a little bit complicated to know what he'll really feels. We'll just have to wait.
