More apartments would curb rents??? Are you kidding? Look at facts from Denver in the last year.

Rents increased by an average of 9% in Denver in the year ending July 2014. In Aurora, rents rose 10-15 percent in the last year. http://www.cpr.org/news/story/denver-rental-marke...

It sure seems that those who think more building will lead to lower rent are misguided. It only leads to more crowding and a less desirable environment.

Check out the rents at 29 North http://twoninenorth.com/rates.php Opened just a few years ago and sold recently for $93M. Nothing lower about those rates.

Or try Solana 3100 Pearl, not even completed yet http://www.solana3100pearl.com/floor-plans.aspx and you will have a better grasp on reality. No one builds buildings to attract lower rents. Do you want to make Boulder into Denver? If so, why not move there instead. They are already doing what is professed here. It's just not making anything cheaper or better.
