Yes, ma'am. You tell people exactly when and where they are allowed to have differing opinions and the public will sure to respect those orders.

You got your wish, dissenting opinion has been shut down by the Republicans.

Yeah. Freedom. Who wants that?

You were warned and had all summer to complain about it.

28th is no picnic either. I'm not sure how you are beating all those stoplights all the time to be able to average 35 MPH, but I seem to spend most of my time on 28th waiting at stoplights and then crawling along at 15 MPH to the next one. What's your secret?

I do feel a bit comforted by that thought.
Thank you!

And the couple of times I drove the road during the experiment, my average speed was about 5 MPH. The few bikes on the path were easily passing all of the autos. And, no, that's not a good thing, that's a sign that something is very wrong.

Citizens have been complaining about it ever since the first day it was proposed. That's plenty of time to see how bad of an idea this was.

I certainly agree.
I was just looking at it from the city's PoV. They've spent millions of future dollars counting on future income to pay it off. If they quit now, someone's left holding the bag. And Heather won't be returning any part of her salary for this failed boondoggle.

The problem is that they are now going 200 MPH. Taking an off-ramp would be a disaster. They've borrowed millions of dollars to get this thing going and expected to pay back the loans out of profits. If they bail now, they have loans that can't get paid off. They've backed themselves into a corner where the only possible way out is to keep going forward.
