Pharmacists are becoming bolder and bolder about not doing the JOB they are paid to do. Their job is to dispense legal, valid prescriptions, not impose their morals on other people.

In what other profession can someone go to work every day and pick and choose what parts of their job they are or aren't going to do?

If you can't do the job, then find another line of work.

I will keep your prescription so that you have to go back to the doctor and get another one. Just like pharmacists think they are entitled to do to women when they feel it's their place to judge rather than to do the JOB they are PAID for.

Next up: denying birth control pills. It's already happening. Just Google "birth control prescriptions denied by pharmacists".

If you are a pharmacist it's your JOB to fill valid, legal prescriptions, not to make moral judgments about why the person needs the drugs and if you feel like "letting" them have them or not.

This is really about the extreme right's agenda to control women, by not letting women have a say over their own bodies.

I'm going to become a pharmacist solely so I can deny men their erectile dysfunction drugs.

After all, it must be God's will if your man parts don't work, and my conscience just won't allow me to go against my own personal interpretation of what God wants.

You have no idea what anyone's reasons are for wanting Plan B and they are absolutely none of your business. Maybe the condom broke. Maybe it came off. Maybe I don't have money to travel even if could find a pharmacist 50 or 100 miles away that isn't a whack job who feels qualified to judge me.

I hope someday you will be forced drive all over hell and back to get your ED drugs.

How wonderful to know that if I'm raped or a victim of incest and I live in a rural area, I may be refused Plan B because some religious zealot doesn't think I should have it.

How wonderful to know that I may not have the means to travel in order to find someone who WILL sell it to me without judging me.

How wonderful to know that even if I live in a large metropolitan area, that I may have to call or travel to multiple pharmacies to find one that will dispense Plan B.

How wonderful that someone can interfere with what my doctor and I have already decided.

How wonderful that once it's too late to take Plan B, THEN I can instead have an abortion.

Actually, if the lid is down you can hear the rat splashing around in there trying to get out. Either that or if there's a rat in your toilet and you hear nothing, it's because it has drowned. I speak from experience, unfortunately. One live rat and two drowned ones. Just filled out the complaint form!

I am thrilled that Best Friends has done so well with Vick's former dogs. Until then, it was automatic euthanasia for any animal who had been abused in such a manner.
