This sounds far better than Xiaomi MI3, removable battery, Stylus, Memory card support, bigger screen and... from a well known company. I am using the Xiaomi power bank, nothing but advertisements, just looks premium (somehow) it only charges around 8000 mAh. While it claims 10400 mAh.
with too much advertisements about Xiaomi here and there, @soyacincau I thought you are really doing a business with them! but your post about this Samsung promotion changed my mind!
Thanks anyway!

@soyacincau, you were so excited about this news that you typed " Finally " twice!
By the way, PLEASE everybody, before complaining to Samsung, soyacinau, south korea, family, friends and anybody near you, "Hard Reset" your phone after update and then use!
>>
Hard reset: With the phone off, press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key. You'll see the Android recovery screen.
Scroll to Wipe Data/Factory Reset using the Volume Up or Down keys. Select with the power key.
Scroll down to Yes, Delete User Data and select it.
Back on the first screen, scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition and select it.
Your factory reset is now complete.
Go to Reboot System Now to restart the phone.

Dear Nick,
First of all make sure you are using Kies3 latest Version. Second, try to update only important data such as S Note, Contacts and Messages. Don't back up and restore your "Other settings". Those are little settings that you can do again in few minutes or some game data which you can get again when you reinstall your apps/games. Restoring those settings normally causes trouble!
However I recommend you back up your contacts simply by exporting them to your memory card (if you have not connected your contacts to any accounts like gmail itself). Sync your S note data to your samsung account.
download a "SMS BACK UP AND RESTORE" application and back up your messages and just copy the back up file on your memory card. Your photos and other things ( such as bluetooth or downloaded files ) can be easily copied to your pc by connecting it via a USB.
You are an Android user! you have freedom to do anything in a simple, fast and smart way.
Good luck!

For those friends who have updated their phones and have issues on Wifi or Reboots, etc.,
It is highly recommended to factory reset your phone after update.

This is a very basic fact that when you upgrade to a new platform ( 4.3 to 4.4 in this case ) you must do a factory reset as your installed applications might malfunction and cause problems.
I have updated my phone 2 days ago via OTA and did a factory reset despite not facing any issues.
Please do a factory reset after getting a back up of your important data and take it easy!

Good luck

It's in fact a gorgeous looking device, great hardware this time. But, there is something smart about Note 3 that lumia 1520 and other competitors like HTC one max don't have. And that is the ability of using the large screen in an efficient way. S-pen, multi window and other special features and this time a really good enough camera are all great stuff that nobody can deny.
But Samsung, htc and Sony must really be careful if one day Nokia builds an Android!
