Just responding to the article. I feel the same way about boys regarding play after seasons are over.

The girls are being used. They have their schlorships but continuing playing to make others money. I just feel while they can practice all they want they are just on display after the season is over with nothing really to be gained. What about their schooling? When is enough-enough?

The season is over. They can get better by practicing on their own. Games should be out after the season is over. You don't see professionals, or colleges play games after the season is over. You have to call it quits at some point or else you won't have a BB season as it will be all year long. Besides in HS they should enjoy their experiences with their classmates as it will end all too soon.

And yes I played many HS sports and practiced all year long, but when the season was over our "games" stopped. I just happen to be proficient in music as well to answer your snide comment.

I rip equally but the article was about the girls playing after the season is over. who is making the money as therein lies the problem. it's not about the game...it's about the money.

Why are these girl's still playing if they have received offers to play Division 1 Basketball? Whats left to prove? They got their schlorships now why risk injury? I bet somebody is making MONEY off these games at the ladies expense that again are worthless as the season is over. Perhaps ladies you should go back to your schools and enjoy the rest of your High School experience as you can play basketball later but you only graduate once.

BTW to the ladies who decided to go to out of state to the Universities that don't need you............

I wish him well, but from the Solon coach, overtures to Washington's coach to a 28 year old ? My guess was that nobody really wanted the job...for whatever reason. I guess we will find out eventually.
