These are some emails I sent today. One to Rep. John Conyers Jr. and the other to Glenn Beck. Please let the members of Congress know that we are here and we have the power to change what we do not like. I also posted this in the Stand Up & Lead section because I want to make sure people see this. We can stand together and we can make a difference.

Dear Glen,
This is an email I sent to Representative John Conyers, Jr. I am also going to be sending emails to my states Congress members, imploring them to take a stand and put a stop to all this rushed and rash decision making currently going on in Congress today. I thought I would share with you what one person can do. It may not be much, but if we can get more people to write their Congress members, then maybe we can show them that we are awake, we see what they are doing, we are not happy, and we can do something about it!
Thank you,
B Sparkman

Dear Mr. Conyers,
I would like to comment on something you said in Congress the other day. "I love these members that get up and say, "Read the bill." What good is reading the bill if it's 1,000 pages and you don't have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill. " I pray to God that you are joking! If you are not, then you are completely out of your ever loving mind and need to step down from your position and let someone with some common sense take your place. You were hired BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, if you (and other members of Congress) cannot do the job you were hired to do then you must go. If you are not given enough time to review a bill, then you must take a stand, you *must* demand more time to be able to review the bill at hand. Our system of government was designed so that rash decisions could not be made, but over the last six months bill, after bill, after bill has been signed either, under the cover of darkness, or with such speed that it makes everyone's head spin. Stop destroying America! I truly hope that your constituents have heard your comment, I hope they wake up, pay attention to your words and actions, and I hope they do not renew your term on the next election. Obama was correct when he stated we need change, but I believe Americans are waking up and seeing that the change we need is not his change, but a change of those in office. Its time you and the other members of Congress that are either too incompetent or too lazy to do your jobs to be cut loose and sent down river.
Thank you for your time,
B Sparkman

Food for thought:
If any of us were to go to our local authorities and file a report of theft, the theft of the Constitution from every man, woman and child in this great nation and there is rock solid evidence of whom the perpetrator of the crime is. What would/could the law do?
I do not pose this in jest. I really would like to hear back on this. If anyone out there that can shed some light on this (and I'm sure there are tons of people out there more knowledgeable about the legal system then I), I would be greatly appreciative.

WDan, I hate to break it to you, but the government regulated health care is not going to be all sunshine and lollipops. Take the similar scenario. A non-smoking, proper weight, hard working, middle-aged man suffers a heart attack. At the emergency room the doctor sends a message to the Health Czar's administration, notifying them that the man needs several tests, medications, and an operation (and that's just to make sure he lives through the night), then there is the recovery time in the hospital, after treatment medication and doctor follow ups. The government then weighs the total cost of saving this mans life against the estimated amount of time he has left to live a full, natural life, If the numbers crunch in his favor then great, he gets to live, if the numbers are not in his favor....well then *shrugs* I guess it's just his time to go.
I'm sorry, I'd rather have MY health care and MY life in MY hands, not the governments.

While I agree that there are questions as to BHO's eligibility to be president, please don't get hung up on that one detail. It honestly wouldn't shock me to find out that his past is shrouded in smoke just to keep us focused on that issue. As an amateur magician I can tell you the key to any illusion is to make your audience see what you want them to see.

I would like to say 'Thank you' to the members of this site. At first I was afraid this site was going to be full of trash talkers, brow beaters, and riot inciters. But after only being here for a couple of days I have found that most of the people posting are level headed, calm, cool and collected, open for debate and not degrading to elementary school playground tactics. So once again, thank you, to the thousands of posters out there that are trying to make a difference. You make me feel that I am not alone, my voice is important, I can be heard, and I can be apart of the solution.

I don't think people here are "shocked" with what is happening, I think they are "upset". We are all reading the writing on the wall, we are just trying to figure out how to stop it. Of course I can't speak for the over 600,000 members here, but its that way for me.

I watched it and was very dissatisfied with the short interview. Glen said they followed him around for a week, shot more then a hundred hours of video and crammed it into a few minuets. I DVR'd the episode so I skipped through the rest of the show to get to Glen but Im sure they spent more time talking about the American Idol runner up or whatever he was then they spent on Glen....truly pathetic. I must say though, at least 20/20 didn't bash him in like those wonderful ladies on The View *rolls eyes*.

Wow, what a beautiful statement. It really moved me. I personally am a non-denominational christian. I believe there is a God and that he sent his son to us, to die for us, and to die for our sins. I like you have issues with organized religion. How many wars have been started in the name of God, how many people killed in the name of God? Is that what God truly wants? I also take the bible with a grain of salt, the bible was written by man, interpreting the word of God, and therefor foulable. I do not attend church and may be criticized for that, but I believe that I can communicate with God whenever and wherever I am, and I don't have to be in a church for Him to touch my life. And in the end, if when I die, I find that there is no higher power out there in the vast universe, then at least I will know that I spent my life being a good person. I'll have believed in something, and not of lead my life adrift in a sea of confusion.
