He's just another uninformed lemming who has bought into the democracy lie. There is no discussion with people who think along those lines. Primarily because all he truly wants to do is troll, but also because they think of themselves as educated, when the truth couldn't be further from their grasp.

The progressives just discount our founding as obsolete and passé. That is because all of the wonderful things they envision America accomplishing on behalf of their perverse dreams are made impossible by the very construction of our nation. They want to destroy what little remains of the nation we once were, because they think mankind is finally ready, finally above the inconvenient limitations that caused all the previous attempts at socialism to fail.

Liberals hate anyone who doesn't fall into the category of victim. It just rubs them the wrong way when individual citizens defend themselves. It isn't in keeping with their belief that the government must be responsible for every little facet of our lives.

By getting their foot in the door on one kind of gun, or one kind of feature, they can slowly move up the ladder.

It must be wonderful to not even respond to what was just stated. Your labeling us neocons is just plain inaccurate. Wrong. Incorrect. I don't think I can simplify that any further. I didn't say that definition was wrong, I am just saying it's the wrong word to use.

Which liberties are you choosing? and what freedom? Explain these.

Well, by that definition you are either just stupid (which I think is a big ten-four), or completely oblivious to what our true beliefs are. Conservative. That definition doesn't describe us one bit, but it does stay in the realm of misinformed childish naivety that I've come to expect from liberals. You'll find that most, if not all of us here, hate democracy, and love the republic we were founded as, very much so yearning to return to it. I guess you just love the thought of us wanting our tanks to bulldoze over all those poor minorities and force our views on them, makes it so easy to demonize us. Do we also have horns sprouting from our heads and pitch black eyes in these visions?

I'll break this down in really really simple terms. You want BIG government. We want tiny government. The lines are drawn, both parties head to the capitol on a platform of making government work for you, which never means giving up power. We want to send politicians in there to limit government. Please refer to your 9th and 10th constitutional amendments.

It's tragic how ignorant some people are.

Fascism, noun: A political regime, usually totalitarian, ideologically based on centralized government, government control of business, repression of criticism or opposition, a leader cult and exalting the state and/or religion above individual rights.

Both parties are taking us down that road. But both sides of the political spectrum (conservative and liberal) are not. Conservatives are opposed to everything that describes a fascist regime. Our origins lie in a group of men who looked at every other system of government, every ideological approach, and decided on the one that placed the most power in the people. Now we have people who want to steal the nation that was built up on that basis, and use it as a petridish to experiment with socialism. Our system was built to combat the one observation about human nature that has never, will never, CAN NEVER change. POWER CORRUPTS.

This conditioning is the mind set of way too many people, and they are the ones responsible for government growing into the monster it is now. They think all of these things are so important that they must be arbitrated by our highest level of government. It's why we gave them the power to tax us, and let so much else slip out of OUR hands, and into THEIRS.

Being a taxpayer isn't necessary. The ability to make that determination would bring the government a little too much closer to the process than I think they should get...

Personally I wish #2 wasn't in the list. It is just bringing way too much distraction to this board.

Dissent with 1 or even 2 principles is fine. I believe 7/9 is the minimum? Regardless, were here to discuss political beliefs, not religious...
