Not sure about the Aussie sandwich bar, Joy's were just around the corner from Platia Victoria and the underground station there.

As of Jackie O's (many great memories from nights in there) when I was there back it was a laundry room for the hotel.

A wonderful post and I totally agree with everything said in your post. All adoptees have the right to know their complete biological history, if they want to know it, as a birth mother I do not have the right to withhold this information from my son.

I have made a promise to my son, if I'm ever reunite with him - and that is NO SECRETS, no matter how "ugly" the truth might be. I would love to be able to tell him who his father is...the only thing, I knew about his father was the his first name (which may not be his real name) and his nationality. Despite this, should my son want to find his father, I would do anything I could to help him find his father and I would of course tell him everything I know about his father.
