It is frustrating to have the gender in there, isn't it? It's because a lot of people use Google to search specifically for gifts for boys. Don't worry - STEM gifts for both genders for many, many ages are in the works! As soon as they are all published, they will all be linked together. I 100% agree, these toys are great for all kids!

Yes, it does need to be said, because these items are very, very frequently included in gift baskets and taking a moment to pause and exclude them reduces the amount of guilt around disposal or regifting and reduces the amount of unnecessary stuff in the world. The list was put together having consulted with several people, who have been there and done that.
Yes, a recipient does have a responsibliity to appreciate the gift, there is nothing here that would suggest otherwise! Being gracious is important.
