Thank you for posting this. I am beyond upset. I'm originally from St. Louis and so many of my facebook friends are silent about what's going on. I just don't understand how this is occurring and how it is allowed to keep occurring. Where is the governor? Or the president? The Ferguson and St. Louis County PD are not the highest authority in the land, and their tactics need to be overruled, stat.
Oh man, this is so right on the money. I'm glad I get to see my Dad in a couple of weeks!
You probably made the couple very happy. I loved when my friends clearly enjoyed themselves at my wedding, because I was happy the money I spent on the bar package went to good use! And when I've helped a friend in similar circumstances, I didn't receive, or expect, any kind of thank you. But booze or maybe baked goods would be appropriate.

Ugh, ear licking! I hope you responded by throwing a drink in his face! Preferably his drink, because of course you would not want to throw your drink--you need that to drink away the memory of having your ear licked.
This week has been all circle of life--grandfather died, told my family I'm pregnant. I can't read the news right now, because everything makes me tear up, or feel even queasier than I already do. But--my husband is ultra supportive, I'm happy to be having a baby, and I'm commenting on the open thread for the first time, so...upsides!
Soooooo sad. I've read so many recaps that I feel like my internal monologue has been influenced by the snark.
I really enjoyed this piece! I wanted it to be longer, and include more hard science, because I was trusting the author to explain it to me in a way I can understand. Thanks, and more please!
