WOW! Gramma, that is AWESOME! Praise God that you listened, and were obedient, after you were sure of what the Lord wanted you to do(((((HUGS))))) What a reunion you will have with that young man one of these days! I know there are times when I'm not "fine-tuned" to hear the Holy Spirit speaking to me, with all the distractions that I allow to keep me from hearing. Please pray that I'll get better at listening:)

Like Janet, I did not find the comments of the POTUS humerous at all! His comment about turning over and asking Brian Williams what he should do really was offensive to me. Like ChristianKaren, I can't bear to watch more than a couple of minutes of the POTUS speaking, and have only seen clips of some of these things he said. Gramma, the primary reason Sodom and Gohmorrha was destroyed because of the great wealth, yet they were't taking care of the needly. The homosexuality was what tipped the scale. As citizens and Christians, I believe we have a responsibility to speak out against wrong-doing that we see happening in the government. According to Romans 13, the government is supposed to be doing things for our good, but that's not the case with the current administration. Your voices will be heard, as long as you persist in calling, emailing, and writing your congressmen. Just last week, we had a victory here in Texas, when Gov. Perry vetoed a bill that would have put parents in danger of having Child Protective Services come into their home without having a legitimate reason, just on an anonymous charge. It would have really taken away parents' rights, and opened a can of worms. Enought phone calls, emails, and faxes were sent to his office that he realized that the citizens of Texas were not in favor of this bill. So, please don't be discouraged, and keep on praying. I pray for the salvation of the POTUS and his family, as well as any in government who aren't saved. I make this judgement because the POTUS has claimed to be a Christian, and as a Christian, I have the responsibility to inspect the fruit that he's bearing. And, it's all rotten to the core. I truly pray he comes to repentence, but fear that he's such a narcissist that he thinks that he's all things to all people. I am so tired of the homosexual community cramming their agenda down our throats, and using the Hate Crimes Bill to create a special class of people for them. And, it will end up leading to a "hate speech" issue. Look at what has happened in Canada, when a pastor was jailed for a sermon on homosexuality. Praying for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem!

Grateful, I read about RFID ink that is now being used to tattoo livestock that can be scanned from up to 4 ft away. It is also available in colorless ink. Just look at how popular tattooing is today, and it's no big stretch to see those left behind be willing to take the mark of the beast, as a tattoo, either in a color or colorless, on their forehead or on their right hand. Praying for all our lost loved ones, for Mr. Netanyahu, for israel, and for the peace of Jerusalem. Things are happening more rapidly than I've ever seen things fall into place. Listening for the sound of that shofar!

Ditto to what you both said! Things are happening so rapidly now that it keeps my head spinning, trying to keep up with it all. I've wondered if perhaps Rick Warren might be the false prophet, considering all the organizations he belongs to that don't spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He's also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, of which Henry Kissinger is a member. In their founding documents, their aim is for a one world government. Yes, Gramma and Karen, we have much work to do while there is still time to witness freely. World Net Daily has an article today where some Christians, who've got a ministry of reaching out to Muslims will not be allowed to hand out tracts, while standing on the sidewalk. They've done this before, when this particular Arab celebration was going on, without any complaints by the Muslims who were in attendance. The Christians will have to remain in one area. You would have to read the entire article to appreciate the impact this will have in the future.

Very well said, and it breaks my heart to see people who refuse to make the most important decision of their lives~~~accepting God's free gift of salvation~~~thinking they have more time. And, it drives me nuts to hear a Christian say, well all it takes is a second. If someone is involved in a fatal accident, they may not have that second to call out to Jesus. Now is the time of salvation. A site I visit, the Rapture Ready Bulletin Board, at www.raptureready.com has lots of folks who have left letters in their homes for those left behind, as they have unsaved loved ones, as I do. I have all the Left Behind books, as well as the ones for pre-teens and teens, several Bibles in different translations, and some videos that relate to the Tribulation period and how things might play out for those left behind. Todd, who started Rapture Ready about 20 years ago, had the foresight to set up mirror sites to Rapture Ready as he believes the Internet will be overran by people trying to find out what happened. On the Home Page, toward the bottom are articles about what has happened, what to look for next, and, of course, the salvation message.

Now, my take on Imanutjob going to Russia~~~this is part of strengthening the ties between Russia (Rosh) and Iran (Persia). A number of years ago, in one of his books, Hal Lindsey said that he believed the hook that would be put in the jaw of Rosh would be Russia's commitment to help Iran in their nuclear program. We see that happening. Russia needs the money, and Iran wants to have nuclear weapons. This is setting things up for the God-Magog war. Keep praying for Mr. Netanyahu, Israel, and of course, the peace of Jerusalem. And, be salt and light wherever possible. Of course, I know that it's very, very difficult to witness to lost loved ones, as they remember how we were before we got saved, but we can sure ask the Lord to put people in their paths who they will listen to, and come to salvation. I also pray for the Muslims that they'll be able to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I read somewhere that there are lots of salvations occuring in Muslim nations. These new converts need our prayers as their lives are in danger from their own families.

Count me in, Mr. Stone, in believing in a pre-trib rapture, and the clock is running down, IMHO, especially with what is happening in Iran, and 0 throwing Israel under the train with his Cairo speech. I'll have to read the entire article as it's waaaaay past my bedtime, and this is such a great site that I want to have a clear head when I read the articles:)
May God give us all the strength we need to be solid witnesses for Jesus, in whatever time we have left.

excellent analysis, Joel, and I agree totally with you. I was able to read the speech last night, and believe prayers were answered for the Lord to guide and strengthen Mr. Netanyahu. I also had an email address for Mr. Netanyahu, and sent an email of encouragement for him. It's rivkaki@pmo,gov.il if anyone would like to send an email of encouragement as the days ahead are going to be full of crises for Israel, considering the Arab response to Mr. Netanyahu's speech.

Thank you Sue:) I was sooooo upset at 0's Cairo speech where he didn't just throw Israel under the bus, but under the train! All the lies he told about all the contributions Muslims (Arabs) have made to civilization were beyond belief! And, no one called him on it. I wish I could remember where I read about the list of things he claimed Muslims(Arabs) had invented~~~Algebra was one of them, and the Egyptians were using Algebra long before the Arabs were a tribe, race, or whatever they are. I thought it very interesting about the strong storm that hit D.C. and brought down that HUGE tree at the White House yesterday. There is a book by Wm. Koenig, called Eye to Eye (think I got that right) that gives lists of things that have happened here in relation to something our government has done that was not in Israel's best interests. A great site to visit is the Rapture Ready Bulletin Board. It's at www.raptureready.com I also get Bible Prophecy Update at least once a day, sometimes more, depending on what's going on. Got to keep my eyes opened to what all is going on, involving Israel:)

I've been praying for G-D to strengthen Mr. Netanyahu, considering the pressures being put on him by the POTUS, which I don't agree with AT ALL. Israel should be able to make the decisions that are best for her people. As G-D's word tells us that HE puts the leaders over us, then HE put Mr. Netanyahu into this position, as HE did the current POTUS. Therefore, this is part of G-D's plan for the end times. We need to be praying for Mr. Netanyahu, his government, and for salvations in both governments, including that of the current POTUS and his family.
I believe we all know that there will be no peace for Israel until the Antichrist comes on the scene, and very tough times are ahead for Israel. I'm trusting G-D to protect Israel in any attack that may come upon her, as that's how I've understood what the Bible has to say about the times we're living in. I'm also praying for salvation among the Jewish people, and praying for the Messianic congregations to have a great harvest of souls in Israel.

Excellent article as it shows the condition of the Church. There is no way that pastor wasn't aware of what Dr. Tiller did. Here in East Texas, we have "Homecoming" days, in the very old churches, and you would be surprised at things a member could do and be disfellowshiped. I've read the minutes of some of the church meetings, and even being seen dancing would cause disfellowship, until that person came before the congregation, confessed his/her "sin" and repenting, before they would be allowed back into the church. I, too, do not understand the outrage over waterboarding 3 terrorists, and not an eye blinks when partial birth abortion is mentioned. I was an R.N. for 39 years, and there is NEVER any medical reason to do this barbaric procedure, besides the fact that it takes 3 days to get the cervix dilated enough for this horrible procedure. Apparently Dr. Tiller's heart was so hardened that being in church didn't touch him, or he was hearing what I call "cotton-candy" sermons~~~tastes good, but soon gone.
