I love these principles.. you would think much of this is common sense but apparently these days we have to spell things out!!

Because it is wrong! How can we take someone else's riches. Maybe he didn't work but someone in his family worked hard to leave a legacy to his kids and grandkids to enjoy and do whatever they want with.. Where there is money is greed! It is their choice to be charitable. We need to go about this another way... lets ask those people on the list how much they gave last year.. maybe then will they question themselves.

ACORN's members are democrats.. with their past fraud allegations they should not be trusted with our Census!
What is wrong with our current Census? I have nothing against democrats only the fact that an organization run by all democrats is a recipe for more fraud. I'm sure there are far better organizations that can run the Census.

I have noticed on the Whitehouse.gov that it includes blogs but no where does it have a place where we can comment about current issues. Why not open comments up to the public? We are to the point in our lives where we can use a computer to reach anyone! They should be utilizing the internet as a tool to listen to American's point of view on the most recent political topics.

Homeschooling is not only right but an obligation to our children! If a parent feels they can do a better job at teaching than a school then it's their right! The school systems have already proved to teach only for test taking TAKS. Homeschooling allows a child to learn values and principles while they learn curriculum. School is all about curriculum and oh.. what everyone is wearing!
I will soon pull my own children out of school if things don't change.. Face it all the schools want is money .. they get money by how many students attend school... that's where they need our kids.. I also know of schools using every last cent the Govt. gives, even when they don't need it all. Why? The Government will cut back funding the next year.
Let's face it all we need to teach a child is a good teacher, a board, pencil and paper, and of course a student. I've seen schools with flat screen TV's.. sorry to get off topic

When I hear Universal Healthcare.... I think of Medicare and Medicaid. If you have any experience in either you will know to receive coverage takes time.. lots of lines, appts, dates, papers to sign, and then you get coverage. If the Department of Human Services can't handle the load of work how in the world will they take on Universal Healthcare... Here's how... with lots of errors
I have spoken with people in other countries who receive Universal Healthcare and they all say there is a lot of malpractice. The price to see a good doctor will cost a lot more than now!
All I know is if I have the option to say no to coverage!
I can't afford healthcare right now and I still say no to Universal Healthcare!

Where exactly does this fit in the President's agenda?

President Obama and Vice President Biden were to " inspire a new generation of Americans to serve their country, whether it be in local communities in such roles as teachers or first responders, or serving in the military to keep our nation free and safe". whitehouse.gov

How about inspiring our pilots to serve their country!! What about intense training implementing the gun in the event of a hostile take over? I don't know, make them take more courses. They are a key part to our society and could have the power to stop a catastrophe like September 11th. America will feel safer flying knowing not only do we have pilots who can fly but pilots who can protect and fly. Who knows maybe more American's will fly knowing they will have trained staff not in hospitality but in security!
