This Minister is under investigation by the FBI, the local police and the Integrity Commission and yet he continues to function as a Minister of Government. This country seriously needs to set a standard that as so long as any Minister is under investigation they should resign their position. Case in point in the UK an elected official resigned earlier this year over not paying speeding ticket on time! When would we see this happening in this country. I feel like we have reached an all-time low under this present government. Is is disgusting now, I don't see how right thinking people can continue to support such disrespect this government has shown to us over and over again.
Mr. Warner along with a few Ministers in this current government will get a reality check soon enough . When people allow their egos to go unchecked trust me karma/society has a way to pay them a lesson that in life it is important to remain humble regardless of how much success you have achieved.
I can't for the life of me understand why Jamal is still a Minister. In any other country he would be fired for sending such a letter. But once again the politics of this country has sunk to an all time low. What pains me more is that there are people who are defending Minister Jamal's actions. The blind supporters on all sides of the political divide and the 'eat a food' posse dont realize that they are doing more harm to the country than good when they continue to defend outright wrong actions. For the last two years this PM has been boosting about Ministers depositing money into the Life Fund. We now know the truth. Is just lie after lie after lie. It is only so many lies the right thninking citizens of Trinidad and Tobago can take. It is beyond disgusting now.

Nah, I didn't read correctly did Mr. Warner really make such a statement. I guess this does not apply to Mr. Warner because with the ALLEGED ALLEGATIONS of corruption and wrongful doing over his head, he would not be sitting in the Cabinet had he been a part of the US or UK govt.
I am curious to find out how some of you fellow bloggers critcizing Mr. Imbert's statement interpreted it. I don't hold any briefs for the man but I don't think that he was asking for the govt to compensate those home-owners without insurance. In my view he was basically questioning how Mr. Sammy arrived at the figure of 109million which may have been viewed as sporadic by Mr. Imbert

It is quite evident that you did not see the video. Had you done so you would not be spewing this nonsense. It is okay if you are a PP supporter or should I say a supporter of the Ambassador in question, that is your democratic right, but at times take off the party hat and look at things objectively. This video was very painful to watch. With her experience in academia she should at least know how to structure a speech.
IN my opinion abortion should be allowed in certain instances such as rape, incest and if the baby poses a threat to the mother's life. Other than that I don't agree with it but that is just my opinion people are free to live their lives as they see fit.
