I do believe you have a valid point here...Were the Mastenieks the real first entry drawn??? Jim Samples made the comment he had never been to the STATE, but we all know that Scripps has an office in Illinois. None of us are permitted to attend the "drawings", so we will NEVER know what transpires behind the scenes......Too many oddities with all the winners of every home that has ever been given away.....
And for future reference for ALL people that enter drawings, please do NOT use your cellphone or laptop while in the hospital! The signals from these devices interfere with life support equipment! (Sure ya got your entry in, but the lady down the hall may have had a heart attack because your laptop cut off her oxygen supply machine)
Or letting the general public attend the drawing for once! I get suspicious feelings when I know for a fact another HGTV show was just taped a few days prior and only 20 miles from the Dream Home winners residence....just my opinion though!
Yep. But I am happy with myself for one thing this year, I did NOT mail one envelope!!!! I am patting myself on the back for not wasting almost $2,000 in postage like I did in years past!!:) The blog part is actually a tactic to get us to look at the sponsers appliances, housewares, plumbing fixtures, flooring and the such. Its an advertising tactic, per se..
Welcome to "Corporate America"! The rich get richer, and the rest of us just are surviving (and dreaming)! Besides, if you were the owner of a big television network, would you want "just an average person" living in an apartment or mobile home, advertising your television channel?
You surely meant to say "let us know if the winner has been NOTIFIED", because we all know the winner WAS indeed choosen at the drawing 3/3/11.
Hey everyone, on a more positive note, I got to thinking about the first response Mr. Jim Samples said "I have never been to that State". (That was the original quote, before the wording was changed to "location") Well, with all of Mr. Samples travels, I am almost positive he has touched down once or twice at O'Hare Airport in Chicago, Illinois!!:) So, with that being said, are we the bloggers really sure that the winner hails from Illinois??
