I am also cutting back on ALL purchases in order to withhold taxes from those who would undermine the Republic and repeat those behaviors that led to the Declaration of Independence. Great action list and thank you for more ideas!

I was going to D.C. I have opted to attend a local gathering instead in order to put pressure on the County and the State of Virginia. Indeed, the D.C. crew will be in my prayers. Just stay "cool" (in all respects). There are those who are going to attempt to goad someone into doing something stupid. Can't underestimate those who would crush these protests. TAKE CARE!

Not to be snotty or anything, but I don't know as this President knows the difference between the letter O and the number zero (0). Stats aren't my thing but I know a ZERO when I see one.

Because as a lawyer he doesn't have the capability to be objective. He has to take a side and argue it. Unfair to lawyers? You decide.

Thinking Out Loud …

When in an abusive relationship, I see only three options: stay in that relationship, call for help to get the abuse to stop (a desire to restore the relationship) or, flee the relationship.

I don’t want to be abused by government any longer. I have marched and protested. I have written, faxed and called my U.S. Senators and Rep to seek an end to the abuse. That has yielded zero result.

So I have gone to my State elected officials and asked them repeatedly to take steps to reign in the national government and assume Virginia’s rightful place as a sovereign State in the Republic. I am either dismissed or ignored.

Is there no remedy for my situation?

The credit card companies are simply trying to recover their bad decisions on your back. They are following the example of the national government. Hang in there and just do what you can do. Others have given you great info and encouragement.

Does it matter? Seems to me no matter how anyone voted, they are guilty as a body of passing unconstitutional legislation. Sad part is, so many are proud of it. (P.S. please forgive my stupidity but what does "bump" mean?)

I have watched this several times and am always taken with the decision-making process some of the characters go through to get involved. It isn't easy to take a stand and be willing to 'risk it all' for ideals. For me, the Declaration of Independence is our foundational document and expresses the heart of those who want true liberty. Our liberty comes with a price and requires diligence on our part. Thank you for the reminder!

Only here a short time. Was great to let some steam off while planning, preparing and executing actions points of my own. Got a couple ideas here already via the Vent venue.

What a kick in the head that it's going away.
