As for NJPW (someone in another post in this thread made some bullshit hipster comment), they've been putting on top notch stuff the past few years and have been mostly consistent with their booking. Not only that, but the mostly quality booking has been supplemented with some damn fine, if not excellent, wrestling. They've, over the past few years, earned my loyalty. Also they have Shinsuke Nakamura. That's always a bonus.

And that would be anything different than what it is, was, and acted as when it was under the WWE umbrella during it's more productive years? The only reason that the relationship puttered out is because they half-assed it rather than going full bore with a developmental league.

Bruno got brought back in for the Hall Of Fame, an eventual DVD, probably video games and so on. I don't remember any rumors about him playing an ambassador role.

WWE, in the past year or so, has been pretty good at creating stars and protecting them a bit. Daniel Bryan is on another level right now. The Shield had an amazing initial run where they were beating everyone left or right and now they're playing the muscle for Orton in the top program in the promotion. They've been handling Bray Wyatt with some care and patience as well. They're by no means perfect, but they know what to do when someone gets hot or brings something unique to the table.
