He's got some damn great physical charisma. And his match with Ibushi was off the charts. I'm looking forward to, IIRC, his match with Suzuki.

Go figure. Wrestling fans, specifically those who engage online, want wrestling on a wrestling show. And when that doesn't happen, they are negative about it.

As for NJPW (someone in another post in this thread made some bullshit hipster comment), they've been putting on top notch stuff the past few years and have been mostly consistent with their booking. Not only that, but the mostly quality booking has been supplemented with some damn fine, if not excellent, wrestling. They've, over the past few years, earned my loyalty. Also they have Shinsuke Nakamura. That's always a bonus.

Where there's smoke, there's fire. And there's been too much smoke coming from a variety of news sites for the whole story about them courting buyers not to be true.

"I don't think the developmental relationship was what it should have been when it was announced. OVW was doubling as a developmental league and a wrestling promotion."

And that would be anything different than what it is, was, and acted as when it was under the WWE umbrella during it's more productive years? The only reason that the relationship puttered out is because they half-assed it rather than going full bore with a developmental league.

JR has been in this business for far more than 20 years. Someone with the knowledge of JR could seriously help someone coming in from the outside with fresh ideas and putting together a good show based around them. That's not to mention the possibility of him setting up some kind of scouting and developmental system for TNA that actually, you know, works. And unlike TNA to date, he actually has an eye for talent.

I was asking a question. Why don't you take your side taking bull somewhere else instead of bogging things down? I'm not a TNA or WWE fan, I'm a wrestling fan. And I don't give three shits whether it happens in the E, TNA or wherever, so long as something's good I'll praise it.

" If you’re wondering about all the recent incidents where it appears TNA will do something on their TV program and then WWE will immediately turn around and do the same thing on their program the next week"

Examples?

Where did you hear this stuff about Bruno or Ric as WWE ambassadors?

Bruno got brought back in for the Hall Of Fame, an eventual DVD, probably video games and so on. I don't remember any rumors about him playing an ambassador role.

And you're putting words in my mouth (figuratively speaking) that weren't there in the first place.

WWE, in the past year or so, has been pretty good at creating stars and protecting them a bit. Daniel Bryan is on another level right now. The Shield had an amazing initial run where they were beating everyone left or right and now they're playing the muscle for Orton in the top program in the promotion. They've been handling Bray Wyatt with some care and patience as well. They're by no means perfect, but they know what to do when someone gets hot or brings something unique to the table.
