I am an adoptive parent as well and we did transracial adoption so its pretty apparent that I adopted so I hear stupid comments like this ALL.THE.TIME and it drives me bananas! I hear "Where did you get her?" all the time and most recently I was told to be thankful that I got to become a mom the "easy" way. I'm lucky to have not ended up in jail that day :)
