After seeing King Lear recently with a friend of mine, we were having a silly conversation about splicing Shakespare plays together, and we thought doing Henry V with The Merry Wives of Windsor would be fun. Literally just alternating scenes between the two and presenting it as if they're the same play. I might do that sometime.

Re: Battle of the Somme commemoration, I am not into these kinds of things at all but I did see a thing I liked. I don't know whether other places in the UK (or elsewhere) have done this, but when I got off the train this morning there were guys hanging around in WW1 uniform - but not like, loads of them. They were fairly sparsely scattered and just doing normal things, and the effect was really uncanny. It was like seeing a ghost for a second. Thought it was really effective.
