Hi NWMinuteman, Most of us here are already members of the NRA/ILA and many other organizations. More guns are being purchased, by first time firearm buyers, than any other time in history. God bless the USA! Between firearm purchases and TEA Parties, the congress better start waking up and smelling the coffee. US citizens are unhappy and scared by what they are witnessing. We need young people to step up and run for office, to offset these career politicians both State and National. People who we can put our faith in to do the right thing.
The UN will not deploy millitarily on US soil for the same reason the Japanese would not invade the USA 60+ years ago. We are citizens and we are armed. If the PTB wish to take our guns, they would have to find them first. Can you imagine the "Crime Wave" of stolen firearms if they come for our guns. "Gee, I was just trying to call the sherrif to report my guns were stolen sometime between now and last deer season. Last time I saw my guns was when I cleaned and oiled them for storage till next deer season. Sorry you boys wasted your time in coming all this way for nothing." hehehehe
Hi To All! I see folks are still talking about the national elections, 2010, 2012, 2014. Please don't over look our local elections either. Denver is unique, the way the city was set up and incorperated into the State, it is like a little country of it's own. Kind of like Vatican City in Rome. They have some scewy laws, and it is all legal. The only thing you can do is move out of the Denver controlled area. My brother ran into this stuff when he worked for the AirForce and lived in Denver.

Hi jatomlin, This is why the "Montana Gun Bill", as it is now being called, is so exciting. It cuts the legs out from under Federal intervention and gives the States back, atleast some of their powers under the 10th Amendmant. 30 States are now looking and/or drafting their own versions of this bill.
awriter, The States are starting to get involved. Montana's Gun bill is being taken up by many other States. This has all happened because the libs are over reaching and over stepping themselves. A whole lot of people are scared of what this "Change" has become. Most did not sign on for this, and are standing up and voicing their discontent.
Get acopy of the Montana Gun Bill and send a copy to everyone in your State Government. Utah and Texas are working to pass similar bills, using the Montana bill for a basis, in their States.
