It could happen anywhere in the same sense that most things can happen in most places. That does not warrant a blanket equivocation of all countries in which terrorism can occur. A fair comparison would consider inter alia the frequency of occurrence, the casualties and the response of the state forces.

I seem to recall apologists of the past regime using the same tactic of "false equivocation" when crime was just beginning to get bad in Trinidad. "Well it have crime in London and New York too!"

NB: This is by no means supportive of the post of "pleasenomore"

You know who else believed the times of the victims were up? The terrorists who believed they were doing God's work. They believe like you in all events being the fulfillment of God's destiny. Next time someone is murdered, I'm sure the perpetrator would be happy to tell the courts when they stand on trial "Well judge, bossman listen to me eh, ee time was up, when it come, it did come, i was just an agent ah de inevitble"

No, it's a state run gambling business started by a government that often invoked divinity for cheap political advancement. The objective of the NLCB is to make money. The winners are much fewer in number than the losers. However, the fanfare associated with winning would lead you to believe that the Lotto only produces winners and never losers.

It might elevate the poor on an infrequent basis, but it also impoverishes the lower-middle class on a frequent basis. Should God also be thanked for that?

Does that look like a friendly kiss and embrace to anyone? She was unfaithful and he was unfaithful. Case closed.

Agreed. The GCE exam is of a much higher standard than the Caribbean rubber stamp certification known as CAPE. The drop in quality is even evident at the University of the West Indies where the CAPE graduates perform worse than their previous GCE counterparts in the undergraduate programmes.

They like being fleeced, duped, fooled and taken for a ride all in the name of expecting help from an imaginary friend.

This must be the new genius crime fighting plan. No wonder Pastor Cuffie and Trevor Sears can do such good business in Trinidad and Tobago. We are a nation of superstitious sheep just waiting for the next miracle.
