We have a Prius here. It runs good if you only need basic transportation. It will never replace a truck for those who need them or a van for those with big families. We got it because the GM car we had before it spent more time in the shop than on the road and we wanted something that would get good mileage. Toyota has a decade of experience with the CVT, so they are closer to getting it right. My point here is hybrids will never be for everyone. Rush is right about the government meddling in the Auto industry. Obama wants 5$ a gallon gas and he will get it very soon to the demise of his own presidency and party. Democrats take note, every time gas prices spike, the party in power gets thrown out in the next election...like in 2008.
