Wow well this year I really put myself out of my comfort zone. I joined choir and I really love it I have me so many friends that are not like everyone else, they like to just be them self and it came out in me. I am not as nervous to sing in front of a crowd when I have a lot if people around me. My failure is not getting over my fear of singing a solo. I have to say this is the best year because I am more involved in different clubs.

It's a great thing to have friends that are themselves, because you'd have different types of people to persuade you to bring out the best in yourself. I do have to admit that sometimes things went a bit crazy sometimes, but having friends is the only way to survive the horrors of school. I having gotten over my stage fright, however......

It's good to join new things. I glad you like choir. I'd br too scared to sing in tron of a crowd
That is good that you are involved in different clubs becuase you will meet alot of good friends in there. I'm a try to join some clubs next year becuase I wasn't in any this year.
I've actually had much fun surviving this school year, making new friends to combat the gradebook and boredom, avoiding snarling, prowling teachers, and learning a lot more about more about the school's laptop than I originally intended to. All in all, it was a productive year. The only thing that threw me off this whole positive mindset was the incoming wave of fish (freshmen). Looking at them makes me feel older somehow, and that kind of feeling scares me to death. The only thing I regret is not being able to spend more me-time than I would've liked. Alas, it is now, the END OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!! *cackles*

I am proud of myself for bringing my grades up to A's and B's this year. Last year I made straight C's. I put s lot of effort into my work this year and it has really paid off. I am more open this year. Last year I kept to myself and avoided anyone who tried to be my friend. This year, I made plenty of friends who have been the coolest people to have around.

I agree with you on meeting and making new friends. The people I met this year and became friends with are really cool!
Over all this wasn't my best school year. It was thought with all the assignments that were given to me but I still managed to pass. Passing wasn't really my main goal but it's a start. I don't like how I really didnt get into so many clubs like last year. Next year I'm a get better grades and be in more clubs like soccer, French, cross country, and golf,
This year has passed by so quick! I still remember the first day of school like it was yesterday. I like how this year I met a lot of new people that I don't meet my freshman year. Also, I took more rigorous classes and it was a challenge but I had the experience. It wasn't fun taking an AP test that you didn't know anything on. But in the end, I wouldn't change this year for anything.

I agree this school year did pass very quickly. I honestly never thought it will go by so quickly. And it's also very good that you challenged yourself. We all should challenge our selfs so we can be more successful in our life's.

This year I would say it was an okay year for me. I had new challenges to face an new obstacles to overcome. I liked how I didn't give up in any class I stayed in all of my classes I had from the beginning. WHAP was not the best class ever and I struggled in the class all year but now I feel much better because I'm passing the class now. I didn't like how I didn't really participate in anything like clubs, sports or band things I'm use of doing but over all this year for me was not the best but it was good enough.

I also had new obstacles to come across. They were hard to get over, but I managed.
This year was a challenging, but fun experience for me. It was challenging because my new experience with WHAP and having to balance that with Mrs.Martinez projects. Also the fifth sixth weeks was the hardest because I wad finishing uo notes for WHAP, transitioning from one book to another book in english and reading a book I'm AVID. It was hard, but I made it through. The fun part was cheerleading and sticking with my same two bestfriends through another year of highschool.

I must admit that this year was not so much of a breeze through as last year, but keep this in mind that we are in school to push ourselves to the fullest potential. Too bad not everyone is willing to strive for that.

I agree that this year wasn't easy, and a lot of people strive for seventies. I get annoyed when people only look to pass, it doesn't make sense to do the bare minimum for people that want to be successful.

For this past school year I felt that we as a whole class is not advancing fast enough and that we are behind other people. This school used to be one of the top performing school and so it is to my dismay to see it degrade this far. On the other hand I enjoy the devotion of the teachers I got this year where it seems to me that they really do care about their student success. Another thing I did enjoy this year was ACE mentor program which my team place 3rd in nationals after working countless hours on this project. Overall I must say I did enjoy this year much better than my previous year but what I am most interested in is next year and what does it has to offer.

This year was a lot of fun, even though I barely remember it because it went by so fast. One thing that I liked is that we could choose the books we read for our projects. Ender's Game and Speak were really good even though they weren't optional. The thing that I disliked was that we didn't go over as many lessons that I would have liked to go over; homonyms, homophones, and onomatopoeias. Overall, I really liked the year I had because it was fun and flew by.

This year did go by very fast. It feels like just yesterday I met some of you guys. Now we're going on to be juniors. Next thing you know we're going to come visit Mrs. Martinez as seniors.

This year was a stressful year but at the same time it was fun. There were a couple things that I liked and disliked about this school year. What I liked about this school year was the Orchestra activities. In orchestra I got a chance to do the Christmas Tour and I also got the chance to go to Disney World. What I also liked were my teachers. This year I got really good, nice teachers. I really liked all my teachers. Now the things that I disliked about the school year were the WHAP notes. They took too much time to do them. This school year was overall fun. I enjoyed this school year. It was fun and stressful all at the same time.

This year was a good one. Some of the things that I liked were my teachers. My teachers were really good and i didn't have pne teacher that I had problems with. I also like the classmates I had in my classes. I had many of my friends in my classes and I also made many new friends. Some things I disliked was the fact that my grades were not as good as they were last year. I had never gotten lower than an 85 ever and know I even failed classes. I also hated the WHAP notes. These notes were to be done every weekend and then take a quiz every monday, so if you didn,t take the notes you preety much failed that quiz! This year was okay in some aspects but it could of gone way better.
This was a good year. I like the fact that I joined different things and that I made new friends. I joined softball was actually able to stay with them. At times I wanted to give up on softball because of how tired I would be but when I got my letterman I got this feeling of success and it's a good feeling. Now when I'm doing something difficult I just remember that I got through one thing I can do it again. One thing I didn't like was how at the end of the year many teachers stacked alot of projects on us. I'm used to Mrs. Martinez's projects but when the other teachers wanted projects due the same week I was so stressed. I wish next year's sophomores good luck.
