I'm just trying to understand what you are saying. Are you saying that Alan Blueford had a gun and that he pointed that gun at the officer on the night the officer shot him? And that that is why the officer shot him?

San Francisco Bay View : Congressman John Lewis in Oakland: Civil rights legend takes center stage

I know that John Lewis is a civil rights legend and I'm glad he came out here to inspire so many. But it saddens me to see his name, and Barbara Lee's, appear as a co-sponsor of H.R. 4169, the Sudan Accountability, which govtrack.us summarizes thus: "To require the development of a comprehensive strategy to end serious human rights violations in Sudan, to create incentives for governments and persons to end support of and assistance to the Government of Sudan, to reinvigorate genuinely comprehensive peace efforts in Sudan, and for other purposes." How does isolating the Government of Sudan, for starters, reinvigorate comprehensive peace efforts? This is buying into the KONY 2012 propaganda. It in no way discounts his legendary civil rights work here. It's just discouraging, especially now, as the U.S. escalates its war in Africa.

This honestly is hard to believe. What can these people possibly have thought they were doing and how could they possibly have thought that there was anything funny about it? This "artist" belong in prison along with this Swedish Minister of Culture. Here's what the Wikipedia says about laws against hate speech in Sweden: "Sweden prohibits hate speech, and defines it as publicly making statements that threaten or express disrespect for an ethnic group or similar group regarding their race, skin color, national or ethnic origin, faith or sexual orientation.[38][39] The crime doesn't prohibit a pertinent and responsible debate (en saklig och vederhäftig diskussion), nor statements made in a completely private sphere.[40]. There are constiutional restrictions pertaining to which acts are criminalized, as well limits set by the European Convention on Human Rights.[41]. The sexual orientation provision, added in 2002,[42] was used to convict Pentecostalist pastor Åke Green of hate speech based on a 2003 sermon. His conviction was later overturned.[43][41]"

San Francisco Bay View : Spying on San Franciscans: End FBI control of SFPD Joint Terrorism Task Force

In Uganda they call it the Joint Anti-Terrorism Task Force, or JATT. Here's a paragraph found under the subhead, "X. Role of Uganda's Foreign Partners in the Military and Security Sector," in the Human Rights Watch report "Open Secret, Illegal Detention and Torture by the Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force in Uganda": "In his response to Human Rights Watch, Brig. Mugira explained a series of trainings that JATT agents had received from "partners in the war against terrorism," but did not give any detail about the content of the courses. In an in-person meeting, Mugira told Human Rights Watch that the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel have all provided training to his forces."

San Francisco Bay View : Uganda: Acholi people face second genocide with U.S. troops in country

@Joshua Dysart: The San Francisco Bay View sells advertising but the advertising does not even cover the cost of printing the print version of the paper, which comes out once a month. Its publisher and editor have to fundraise every month to print it. There are hot link citations to most every fact in that report. I did not hot link the 90 percent figure, which was Milton Allimadi's, in the report that I had cited in the previous paragraph. Your photograph has been replaced with one made freely available by Wikimedia Commons.

The Acholi are also across the border of Northern Uganda in South Sudan. And, the legal groundwork for this is the Northern Uganda Recovery and LRA Disarmament Act. And, why is the LRA such a concern to the United States, and not these tragic land evictions threatening to finally destroy a whole people?
