WTF??? Does CNN have NO standards at ALL with its reporting anymore? Just when you think that they can't sink any lower, they somehow manage to crack their back and lower themselves below the limbo bar. If this host came up with that question, she should be fired for gross incompetence. If an editor handed it to her, they should be working the drive thru next week at Burger King.

You notice how he hesitated before shooting? That wasn't because he was having second thoughts. This psycho was enjoying hearing his victim beg for his life. Good thing he killed himself. Saved the tax payers a bundle of money to pull the lever ourselves. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Hey... it's sad. But if you point a weapon at the cops, the cops have a split second to respond. From the report they asked him to put it down. He chose to point it at them. His choice. And a bad one. The sister wants someone held accountable, but unfortunately she only has her dumb-ass brother to blame. There's no closure in a tragic situation like this. I feel sorry for the cops that have to live with it as well. But they did what they had to do.

Not sure you understand. There might be 'substitute' programs out there, but the majority of users aren't going to swap their products for 'substitutes' that work on this platform. They aren't going to change their habits or their preferences just to check out a new platform. Photoshop users in particular aren't going to shelf their $1,000 copy of Adobe for a free copy of Gimp so they check out an alternate to Windows and Mac. That's just reality. And without the mass market, Adobe isn't going to spend a lot of money targeting an audience for Google's OS.

'Pressure' on Microsoft? Maybe. But they would have done a lot better if they had stuck to the OS and not redesigned the keyboard. By doing that, they've scared a lot of people off -- including those that may have sampled it for use with Microsoft products (Try getting Word and Excel Function commands to work with this. Ain't happening. And I can't see Microsoft redesigning the software to accomodate Google users. I also can't see users spending extra money for a 'Chrome' version of products they already have running fine on Macs and PC's).

It's not just Microsoft products -- other software is also dependent on function keys. The Adobe suite for instance, including Photoshop, would be useless on this platform. Software venders were hesitant to redesign their product for Windows Vista - I doubt they will come out with new versions simply for this.

Good concept, but from what I can see, in the end it's a machine that's great for checking your email and surfing the web. A glorified 'iPad'... and not much more. They may have to head back to the drawing board on this one...

The really sad part is the talking heads at the News station just don't get it. They're too busy doing their story about these 'amazing deals' of 80% off and the importance of 'bundling up and staying warm' if you're going out. What about the story of the families who are sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner with relatives who've flown in from around the country only to be ripped away because Toys R Us wants to start Black Friday on Thursday instead? While some of these stores may offer bonuses or overtime incentives, the truth is, in a 10% unemployment nation, you can get away with more because you know people are desperate and even if they DO walk, you can easily find replacements. That's the real story. Merry Christmas ,News Channel 3 - apparently you just don't get it.

Well, that's the lesson here. It's Okay to let the government violate your rights as long as someone on CNN or MSNBC or the NY Times says it's 'not a big deal.'

That's like taking legal advice from Daffy Duck. To quote Jack Nicholson, "Sell crazy someplace else. We're all stocked up here."

So let's get this straight. You showed up hoping to create a huge distraction, and then got upset when someone 'got up in your grill.' What a freakin' moron. Too bad Jon Stewart's writer didn't clock him a few times and make the trip to jail count.

"In a 'rare admission' of mistakes.... wow... bias, lib, slanted reporting at CNN. Gosh. What a ... ahem.. surprise..... No wonder they're nowhere in the ratings.
