There is no news of any new novel. I haven't decided whether I am going to continue or not... I've gotten interested in some other fandoms, and seriously how long the author is taking is beginning to annoy me.

I don't follow the manga version...

It is odd, really, but technically Ensei has recently appeared a lot in the books if you count the last Gaiden.

I think everyone is surprised that Shuuei is ranked so low. XD

I'm also surprised at Shuuei ranking below Kouyuu, and that low to boot.

Yeah, Ensei ranking in the top 10 is not surprising, but in the top three? I didn't expect that. On the other hand, I would have personally ranked Suou higher than him. XD

If I detested comments, I wouldn't allow them. On this blog, it is very easy for me to disable comments. Actually, discussion is the main reason I bother continuing to translate. I'm not saying I'm entitled to discussion, but rather than thanks or gratitude or anything like that, it's the desire to discuss Saiunkoku with others in-depth that makes me even bother to continue.

Really? They've kind of like been fully translated in Chinese. Check on the Baidu forum or something, and you'll find links.

No, I think it's absolutely the opposite. Ou Ki is stating that he's given up totally on Ryuuki, and that after he goes to Kou Province, things will get even worse for Ryuuki with the officials at court. His actual advice to Ryuuki is to run away so that Ryuuki will be freed from being king.
