Hey Jamie! I just realized I hadn't seen a post from you in a bit and thought I would drop you a line. Hope all is well with you. :)

I earned $75 in Amazon Gift Cards in 2010 with no referrals. Not too shabby, but referrals would add up to a bigger reward. Some of my family have signed up, but they have never earned anything; I don't count them as true referrals.

Heather over at Freebies4Mom gets so many referrals from Ebates that she is able to give away several $300 Apple Gift Cards a year.

My daughter just received a Nook for her birthday. I like how it does give the feel of reading an actual book. I've been eying the Kindle (I LOVE to read), but am so beyond cheap. I would love to know what you think about the navigation and using the built-in WiFi (if you try it out). It really is a toss up between these two e-readers, but I'm leaning towards the Kindle.

I love my husband dearly (took my 10 years to make that official), but he is forever telling me and my kids (all teenagers) that we live in our own little world where no one else understands us (yet he chose to be with us). An off sense of humor is a treasure and your daughter will benefit greatly from it and your other attitudes. As far as getting out of the small town, make a plan, pick a date, and take the plunge, or not. Either way, good for you for having values, goals, and standards and sticking to them.

Okay. Um, I found you by way of your Hair Flairs post (I wasn't sure if the giveaway was worldwide, Canadian, or US only), so anyway, I liked your post but comments were off. Then I read the mini bios and ended up here, well, back on your most recent post. Then I was looking to the right and had to know (curiosity, nosey, whatever). Now, being the mom of 3 teens (the oldest being 19) I can totally relate to your mom's laughter and was almost in tears. All of that was to say I liked your post (both of the ones I read). BTW, I'm not nearly as interesting or funny.

I remember spying your rapid-fire tweets back in the day. See, you were one of the popular people. I tried. I really did. I would manage for a week or so, but life has a way of happening whether we participate or stare at twitter in hopes someone will respond to one of our muses.

I have my blog posts auto-tweeted when they go live. I tweet out other people's stuff when it merits it. And occasionally, and I mean o-ccasion-ally, I share some random tweet about nothing, or something (hey, it can happen). Oh, well. I'll stick to making random comments on blog posts that strike my fancy (even if it's a week's old blog post).

As much as I am not fond of toilet de-clogging, I much prefer to find it and rectify the issue before the hubs sees it. It's far less aggravating. Besides, I seem to do a better job. Go figure!

I would most definitely try the sweet potato. The second would be a toss up between multigrain, yellow corn, and blue corn.
