But living by grace isn't nearly as much fun as tearing people down and letting them fall!

Great post.

Of course, the term "progressive" has become more-demonized than "liberal" now, thanks to a certain talk show host who cries on demand.

This was predictable. Once a therapy, now a vanity. We've done it to everything else, why not our kids?

Honestly, the IVF process includes too much abortion by a different name. Those five embryos might never be "used." Five little babies might be killed just because the parents never had to fall back on their reserves.

1) I live in Farmington, NH. I'm from North Carolina, originally.

2) Once upon a time, I supervised credit union tellers. I'm now a stay-at-home dad. (Please, not "Mr. Mom," the term is "Dad.")

3) I've had two blogs, and they're each sort of defunct. I walked away from my political one at http://1truebeliever.wordpress.com because I'm tired of vitriol posing as discourse. When life suddenly got hairy, I've considered renaming Ken Reads at http://kenreads.wordpress.com to be Ken Wishes He Was Reading.

4) I think I'll go with "Your Jesus Is Too Safe" by Jared Wilson overall. In fiction (kidlit), probably "Stonewall Hinkleman and the Battle of Bull Run" by Sam Riddleburger and Michael Hemphill.
