Hello, I'm one of the organizers of the New Media Accelerator mentioned in the post. While we appreciate the coverage, sadly some of the information in the post is incorrect. Here's more information about the New Media Accelerator and Hammer's role.

The New Media Accelerator is founded by Angela Benton and Wayne Sutton
MC Hammer is one of 30 speakers and mentors from successful startups like Twitter, Foursquare, Zynga and Path along with venture capital firms to give not finical advice but entrepreneurship advice to startups.
While we're excited that Hammer will be joining the list of successful entrepreneurs but it's not his latest venture.
The Accelerator is from June 16 - August 18, 2011

That was the best one yet! Needed a good laugh after waiting 4 1/2 hours for the iPhone 4 and now looking at scotch tape to fix antenna troubles until I get my hands on a bumper case
