Do you know how bummed I am that Old Navy shirt isn't real? I was seriously going to buy a few for the next time I get a new puppy 'cause Vizslas love to snuggle!! I feel for you regarding Desmond. There were a few times I lost my patience with Jersey when she was scratching the walls & hiding. While her behavior isn't perfect, it's more manageable with "better living through chemistry". I think that your vet is being a bit unreasonable with doling out the meds. My vet wanted to first start Jersey on that DAP stuff, but I said no way & wanted the real "stuff" to treat Jersey's problems. You'll find a vet that will help you, I'm sure of it.
