I agree that this is heartening news and that the GOP has shown only that they are the anti-democrat party, rather than an organization that is making a true attempt to work on and fix the issues facing America at this moment in time. If somehow Obama and the dems fail on the tax cuts issue, then I would hope that voters will see them for what they really are: the Government Obstruction Party, and really punish them at the polls in November for it. Of course, I should be careful what I wish for because if the GOP is punished by voters, the Tea Party might become a more prominent player in American politics, which, as they stand now, is not really something that I want to see.

Rechan, that is true, but those places are now and have been much more stable than Iraq. But, as Hanlon says, it is a good first step that combat troops are gone. It's too bad that more contractors are on the way, though.

I agree that it is aggravating that people are defending this lying puss-bag, but for me the most aggravating thing is that it got this far at all--that is, that once again the Obama administration along with the media at large got duped by a known liar and swindler.
