It does look fun, I agree. Hopefully the trip is pretty, otherwise I agree with you on using the train! LOL.

Ooo, that's a really useful website! *bookmarks* Thank you!

I MUST GO!!!

Funnily enough we were thinking of taking the himiko from Asakusa to Odaiba in December, and I was wondering what to do when we got there. Poor, poor Mr. Troo :D

Old people have special dispensation to speak to whomever they like. I don't mind that :D

If it's any consolation to Bloomzy, I've been offered assistance by random strangers on the street in Japan (including Tokyo) many times when looking lost. I think most won't more because they are embarrassed that their English "isn't good enough" (although it's usually more than good enough for the task) rather than because they do not wish to help.

I'm not really a hugger, Kirin-san. I reserve hugs for close friends, and generally then only because they're the ones who are huggers and initate the whole thing. Not one for eye-contact or conversation with strangers, either. The US makes me feel quite uncomfortable, with total strangers starting to talk to you on trains or in restaurants!

Ahhh, nooo! The English come in one of two types when it comes to spiciness: The ones who think the faintest whiff of a piece of garlic is "too spicy! Argh!" and the ones who look at this post and go "Yeah! I'll have 100!"

I'd go for 100. Even if it killed me! Hahaha! I think it was a Coco Curry House where they go from about 1-10 in spiciness, and the 10 didn't even tingle. Very tasty, obviously, but... not spicy.

Brilliant post, Apple! :D

Mayo is very easy to make at home. The downside is that you get to find out the disgusting things that go into it :D
