I love writing reviews - it's a way of revisiting favourite books. True story: A couple of years ago I wrote a review on Mary Webb's "Precious Bane", posted on my site & Amazon (of course). A few weeks back, someone discovered my site with the search words "Heroine has a harelip". Beautiful! Hope they found what they were looking for!

My cousins would make me hide behind the sofa with them when Dr Who came on - not that they were scared - just that was the 'thing' to do. Later working at the BBC, I went to have some scripts photocopied and found the daleks deep in the bowels of Broadcasting House!
