Re new outfits: when I was a child, we always had new outfits for Whit week and Easter. Maybe that's why spring feels like new clothes season. Re pilfering my children's chocolate: as if I would n't :)

I'm so jealous! I scribble all over my journals but any drawings tens to be stick figures. Yours looks arty and pretty and I love it. What I do do is stick my memories in them: tickets, receipts, emails, etc. My notebooks BULGE! I really love this. The photo itself is a piece of art.

Well done! I lost weight when I cut out the junk, ate three balanced meals a day with the occasional treat, drank lots of water, ate smaller portions, and continued with my regular lifestyle. But I'm not strong.

Good grief! I saw that first photo and wondered just what a Canadian summer feels like... Very well organised camp. We had four children, two dogs, 1 kitchen area and two adults in one tent and managed to enjoy ourselves. It's all about attitude - "We've paid for this pitch and we're not leaving - I don't care that it's rained non-stop for five days. This is Wales; what did you expect?"
