@Joe, So true! Quality content is a must. The audience on other people's blogs might not only be different but also can be larger and/or more targeted than your own blog. I believe in giving a guest post your all.

@Dennis You're probably right! But if you're a good writer, you have the added benefit of possibly being your own marketer. And, you don't even have to be in sell, sell, sell mode all of the time. Like I mentioned to Daniel, it's all about helping others and sharing your knowledge (even it's just a little knowledge!).

@Daniel Absolutely! People build trust in you as a writer if they see you trying to help others through something like guest blogging. I try to put helping people at the top of my list.

@Murlu I agree with you. I make relationships with people through guest blogging that I probably would never had made otherwise. It makes the process worthwhile.
