I will however add that Nehruvian socialism and pseudo-secularism fueled Marxist manipulation of our education system has played a big role in creating these "smug, deracinated, copy-cat zombies" that Vinod Sharma avers to. Decades of their uninhibited hegemony have born bitter fruits in recent times in the form of preponderance of the self-proclaimed left-lib-secular brigade in current Indian media, “intelligentsia” and politics. In fact things have come to such a pass that now it has become necessary in certain professions such as journalism to follow their perfidious rubric in order to advance one’s career. Which is apparent in the fact that while Islamists, evangelists, Marxists are given a free run in Indian media, anyone with even a wee bit of sympathy for Hindu causes is hounded out.
