This movie truly deserved the drubbing it took from the critics and at the box office.

If you want to see a well-written (though not REH canon), well-acted, well-directed sword and sorcery film (made for a lot less money), see "Solomon Kane" which has yet to be released in theaters in the U.S.

As a woman, I am so sick of this nonsense.

I recall Kathryn Bigelow's reaction to the feminists' attempt to co-opt her Oscar for "The Hurt Locker" - she was honored to have been voted Best Director, NOT first female to win the Oscar for Best Director. She gets it. It's not about percentages or quotas.

We, as a society, need to GET OVER IT.
