Excellent article. How come it always seems like the most important times one needs their smart phone, that's when the battery is wasted? More than 6 hours on the road and my google unit has little juice left. I've shopped for a second battery, done the app killer piece, shortened screen timeouts, shuttered wi-fi, managed GPS usage, shopped for a second unit, but I'm looking for more. These suggestions sure help.
