It ruins the game when this very same referee insists to issue bookings for every single handball. No matter if it's intentional or not.
Funny. When I went to my first seminar for new referees, I was told that once you've left the pitch after a game, you can't give any cards. Then you can only report the player/accident and it should be reviewed afterwards.
It's easy to blame this on players, coaches or referees, but I think we shouldn't. We should instead remember that we can't keep going with the same perfect flow forever. And we still have very good chances on the CdR as well as on the CL. And also, we have at least one more chance to pulverize Real Madrid on the pitch this season. We'll always rise again.
I won't blame Pinto. Of course he's not as good as Valdes, but I think he also gets more pressure from the opposition (because they know he can make mistakes). The lack of communication last night was our biggest problem.
I'm just worried about what we did in the back? And they shouldn't complain about luck, we practically gave them two goals.. Wasn't that luck then?
It's sad that they act like this at the RFEF. In England Balotelli is going to be punished for a almost similar thing (although it looked more deliberated) when he stamped on Scott Parker's forehead. And I'm pretty sure he wasn't mentioned in the ref's report there.
I expect nothing more than that this is complete BS. We can't go two years in a row with a exception as a home kit. And the assumed third kit reminds me of the training shirts we used at some point recently.
I'd guess he means Maxwell
Of course I feel bad for Betis.. I like them. But they can steal the points from Madrid instead later this spring :)
I'm sad for Mallorca, they deserved a point or more, and all they got was just heaps of bad luck..
