It only takes one action. No one is asking people to like every single female that they cross paths with but can we be civil? Can we not sleep with married men?
our lack of unison is precisely why men can get away with crap like this. We have a self serving mentality when there are times that we should stop to think how our actions may harm the next person.

The letter itself was a rash attempt at calling out whoopi. Whoopi like many others who find themselves in a predictament where a friend displays such callous and reckless behavior are surprised and shocked. Unfortunatelty for her, the moment was apart ofThe View and while in my opinion she was way out of line for trying to justify his actions, she was in no way different than any other person who would have stood in her shoes.
Because of that I can't judge her or say that she has color issues. She's a comedian who is known to push limits so in keeping with that I can see where and why she would come up with that idea for Black face. Was it right no. Your "analysis" of Whoopi is very one dimensional and includes alot of your own presupposed theories that you have claimed as truth based on a few genealizations.

so you didn't email this letter to Missjia to be published on her site with the Dear Celebrity letters? Because if you did then you falsely assume that your audience is the same audience as MissJia's. as always the first rule of writing would be to not assume your audience. You are blatently guilty of that here and most definitely shoudln't be making excuses for it. If you didn't and Miss Jia lifted this letter from your site then I stand Corrected and would ask that the origins of such letters are made clearer in the future. (as it was with that dear Lebron letter)

instead of being defensive, maybe you should read the criticism that it seems EVERYONE had this letter and you seem to hint at in the above comment.

you should have left it at that, then asked Jia to do a guest spot going into your theory of Whoopi's color issues.

I doubt anyone here thought you were aiming to be politically correct but we did hope for cohesiveness.
