Ron, I will be honest with you and admit that I too could be addicted. It is so easy to "just look" this one time. Then before you know it, you gaze and then stare and then it consumes you. Thank you for admitting this so that others know they aren't the only ones.

I agree, my wife and I are able to read out of one library now that I have the iPad and the nook. With the nook you can go to the store and read books for free, I have not tried that from the iPad yet.

Thanks for this blog. I have a similar reading plan but I don't seem to read as often or as much as you do. I am building on it. Thanks for listing some of the things you read, I'm sure that we can all add to our lists.

Good early review of the new kindle. I like the compare and contrast that you showed with the 2 and the iPad.

I can see your point about the laptop, it is easier than typing on the screen on the iPad. I did my blog post this morning from my iPad today. It was good but I have to learn to type a different way in order to speed up.

So far I am loving what I can do with it and have gotten keynote and pages and a journal app for it.

Michael, do you find Things easier to use with your iPad versus your iPhone. I would be interested to know what apps you find most helpful and productive for the iPad. (yes, I just got one and am testing some for myself).

So far, I am questioning the need to carry a laptop as much.

I have seen a couple of these videos that shows a reversal. It is very effective to make you think about the situation. I like what is said about the publishing in this video.

As I continue to read more and more, it is nice to see that I have options to read on multiple platforms.

Thanks for trying to stay ahead of the game.

I totally agree with that Michael. That is a motivating factor for me to do what I need to do. I just have to remember that I could be at home while she was working.

This is definitely something to remember and re-read. If someone were to read this every Monday for a couple of months plus put it into action, they would be a LONG way ahead in their business and personal lives.
