the show really does keep getting better and that's because they opened it up with great supporting characters. Some of the best lines are given to the guest stars and supporting characters.

Plus they constantly do theme shows, like the Hitchcock episode, and their version of the Hangover. There are clever stories and witty jokes to go along with the slapstick.

The Mentalist essentially ripped off Psych's premise and just pushed it more dramatic whereas Psych goes for the laughs. Psych wrote that into their show and had the characters discuss the mentalist.

What will the reviews be like for the election time pro-obama Seal Team 6 movie?

They've painted themselves into a corner with their ACt of Valor reviews, haven't they? We now know that a military movie stinks unless it has soldiers questioning their leaders, a few scenes sympathetic to the "victoms", and of course, a few scenes of mindless soldiers "killin stuff" because that's what soldiers are in real life.

How will they weave those apparently mandatory elements into the upcoming Seal movie? Maybe they'll have scenes where the seals get the plan from their dumb officers and question the mission and then the smart plan comes straight from the President himself just in time to save the mission.

The liberal press finds it unrealistic that a group of soldiers could possibly believe in their mission. Of course they do, that's what they've been taught, that every soldier was somehow duped into joining and it's just a matter of time before they realize it and become disillusioned.

Just look at a movie like Spielberg's Munich. This was a movie about hardcore Mossad agents being trained to bring the olympic terrorists to justice. They still felt the need to show the characters in turmoil over the mission and to put the terrorists in a sympathetic light. Are you kidding me?

What i find unrealistic is modern liberal views superimposed over characters who would never hold those views. How many anarchists go into special forces?

Penn is the definition of useful idiot.

I'm sure the hand picked peasants were eager to tell Penn just how happy they are, while thugs hold their families captive just off camera.

Neil Patrick Harris' Barney is an updated version of Michael J Fox;s Alex P Keaton. What is interesting is that in both cases, it seems these conservative characters were written onto the show to be the comedic foil, made to look silly by the liberal characters surrounding them.

It's similar to Archie Bunker as well. The meathead was superior liberal and Archie was supposed to be the racist conservative dupe.

In each show, the liberals would make the sermons, and the conservative character's responses were supposed to be punchlines and the audience laughs at the dumb conservative. But isn't it funny that the public identified with the conservative characters time and again.

isn't it interesting how in the wake of this, the only person Eastwood specifically said he did not support was Obama, and yet in these parodies, they have him blast only republicans.

they should have closed the show with video of Houston singing the National Anthem. That was the highpoint of her career and would have reminded people that Houston truly could sing unlike many of the new starlets who just oversing like alicia keys or Christina Aguilera, and many others.
