I am wondering about the girls being covered so much. Is that a religious thing? The boys seemed comfortable in their shorts, but the girls have every bit of skin covered. I do not understand.

So you are saying it is ok to duct tape children to the point of them being hobbled? What indication do you have that this father and mother were not raising their own child? Are you saying they should homeschool their own child? I'm ok with that.

The article is a bit wordy for the topic that needs to be addressed. the reader is forced into a massive amount of only slightly related information. This story could have been broken into at least 5 or 6 other stories.

The avalanche of over information was a bit too much.

I understand your frustration because Ive been there, more than once. But my wonderful hubby always tells me that even though I feel discouraged I cannot give up because what good would that do? It would only make me feel worse. As hard as it is, keep plugging on and do not lose your values. Giving in to frustration would make you no better than a koolaide drinker. Your very nature as a conservative means you hold to your values no matter how much the other side beats you up. Take a break from it if you must, but square up those shoulders soldier and prepare to face the opposition with pride in your beliefs.
