Emerging Arts Professionals : The Arts Skyline in 2015

Is it just me! Or is there no photo credit? Even more ironic for an art event.

Temple Of iPad : Travelling With The iPad

The photography program is called 'The Genius of Photography', and is made by the BBC. Each program picks an aspect of photography that changed our perceptions of the world, and gives a history along with the characters and events involved. Here's a link to the home page - http://www.bbc.co.uk/photography/genius/ . They also made a series called 'The Genius of Design' which I'm enjoying too. I have my Camera Connection Kit now. I'll get a review up ASAP. I hope you enjoy your cruise. I've spent some time just North of the border in British Columbia and the islands around Vancouver, and it's a beautiful area.

Temple Of iPad : BBC iPlayer For The iPad

I should have explained that because the BBC is paid for by a license fee levied on all UK households, and not advertising, most content is restricted to the UK. The BBC makes quite a lot of money by selling it's programs abroad, so they probably don't want to lose that market by showing the programs worldwide on iPlayer. I have the same problem here in the UK with Hulu.

Temple Of iPad : A Free iPad With Your Hyundai Equus

Yes, it wouldn't work for me either :) It's interesting to see how in an attempt to move more up-market that Hyundai see the iPad as something that fits in with this, though. I guess they are trying to get a bit of the iPad's halo effect for themselves.

Cheers Rich. A review of iWorks is on it's way, as long as I can stop playing with everything else on it ;)

Temple Of iPad : Flash On The iPad

As a technical achievement it impresses me. I'm not sure how useful it is though. Most sites seem to offer native HTML5 content as far as video is concerned.

Temple Of iPad : Does Multi-Tasking On The iPad Matter?

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, Don. Instant-on is so important with this type of device. I will often use mine in those few minutes in the TV commercials or while my son is eating his supper. There's no time to start up a computer and do anything useful in that time. The older I get and the bigger my family grows, the more I appreciate things that work well and make my use of time more efficient!
