BEST of luck to you this weekend, Laura - run like the wind!!! You'll do GREAT :)
No crazy shopping for me today - but I am doing a lot of browsing online ;)
That lulu top looks so comfy; and I buy everything with thumb holes if I can.
I, of course, just finished Rob Lowe's 'Stories I only tell my Friends'. Highly recommended as an audio. He is an excellent narrator and I firmly believe an adequate book can be made spectacular with the right narrator. No problems in that department, though. It's incredibly interesting; some of his stories are pretty amazing.
I hope you enjoyed your Bond movie! And I hope you're feeling less funky. I have something that might perk you up: a wee package heading your way......maybe by Thursday? :)
Aww...I love this post. I liked guessing some of the answers about you before reading them - I was right on a few (especially the shopping one) lol
You are just too cute, Laura. Seriously. And as a matter of fact, you DO look like Scarlett with that trendy hairstyle ;)
It is so important to create posts like this, especially when it's challenging to do so; I think this weekend must have had some bad mojo attached to it because I wasn't feeling like myself, either. Recognizing and reciting the great things we have in our lives can only lead to positive thoughts. It's a win-win situation. I'm ever grateful for you and other people I've had the pleasure of adding to my life and for the health of my family. See? Now I feel better! ;)
That soup looks amazing. My favorite kid food IS actually for babies - well, toddlers, anyway. It's teething biscuits and they are vanilla flavored and taste SO good - seriously. I got hooked on them when my friend's toddler was gnawing on them. I haven't been able to find them for a while now though, which is just as well, actually.
See...this is what I love about your blog (well, one of the things) You aren't afraid to show yourself as you were. Some people - like me - go back and re-read journal entries and just want to crawl out of my skin. I think, 'Who WAS this person?!' But you're right - the truth is, we change all of the time and hopefully for the better. I also think that this goes to show that the older we get, the less worked up we get about things. That's probably the best part about getting older. I don't particularly LIKE these tiny wrinkles appearing under my eyes, but, like you - I wouldn't go back, either.
Sigh. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is a dream of mine, too. The sad thing is that I HAVE the perfect pair sitting in my closet but I can't wear them! Grr!!
Those BYU fans were headed HERE :) Wish they could have tucked you away with them and brought you with them!
Every time I come here you are looking more and more like you should be on the cover of InStyle magazine. So chic. How are you holding up with all of this traveling? You look like such a pro, now!
Okay, I'm glad that someone has finally brought up Spanx. I've never used them and literally you're the first person I know who has. My biggest fear was that everything would want to roll upwards - that's been my problem when getting ANYTHING form-fitting like that. It never stays in place. If you're happy with it, then it must fit like a dream. I may have to invest in one of these.....
