These comments are the most civil and respectful that I've seen on a post with politics as the subject. Maybe there is hope for us yet!
Thank you for sharing something that helped me to come to terms with the fact that I am not healthy as a non-carnivore. I have carried guilt about it, been judged for it, and even as I work toward being conscious about where ALL my food comes from, have wondered how I can make my choices right with the Universe. This post, and many of the comments, have given me lots to 'digest.'
I am happy to see the list and know that I've read nearly all of them, and and that my son read most as well. In a time where extremists are censoring, watching and placing judgment on so many benign actions, the freedom to read whatever we choose is crucial to our progress as a society. But it still might be wise to pay cash when you buy books :)
