Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : #111. The Five Love Languages

My marriage was doing OK, but after being in a conference and reading this book, my marriage has improved a lot. Understanding that some stuff I did for my wife holds almost no value, while others meant a lot to her (and vice-versa) was of great value. I do recommend it to everyone, although I recognize that other mariages are in need of something different. My relationship with my parents also improved.

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : #120. Evangelism tools

I don't think evangecube is bad. I used an evangecube by kids ee (http://www.kidsee.org/cube/index.htm) to talk to some kids in my family and it was a great visual aid while "explaining" the gospel. Also, some of their parents were watching from afar, and the parents were also very engaged. I do concur that we have lo live the gospel, but we also have to be able to explain it clearly. Jon, I'm having a great time reading your posts, funny SCL marathon for me..
