I've been reading listverse for quite some time now and a lot of the articles on here are very interesting. Especially from Mr. Flamehorse and JFRater. But, this is the article that prompted me to sign up just so I can say that I am really impressed by this list probably because I've been training KFM for more than a year now.

A relatively newer school but it's hard to deny how efficient it is eschewing the "fanciness" of other disciplines. That's not me hating, however, it's just the other disciplines don't work for me as well as when I first started learning KFM. KFM has it's share of critics and haters as well, due to the fact that it gained most of it's renown because of the Batman rehash (I only found out about KFM because of the extra scene in the Batman Begins DVD). Here's the only thing I have to say, the pensador (the thinking man stance that KFM utilizes mainly because it's instinctual to cover the when attacked) works.

Sorry if that was quite long, I really enjoyed this piece. So, I guess, in the end it's all up to the practitioner. Like Bruce Lee said, "be water, my friend" is probably the best when training in a discipline. That is all. Also, keep it up, great article and Batman. Peace.
